Warm up

Before the start-up, the unit with the preheater can decide whether the unit performs the preheating operation according to the ambient temperature. The control panel with the preheat button can control the engine to start heating to achieve the purpose of preheating.

Power-on

Turn the control panel key switch from OFF to ON position, observe that the instrument backlight on the panel is on, indicating that the control panel is powered on, and the unit fuel is on, and the controller with electronic speed controller or EFI unit is also in Working status.

Start up

Some unit control panels have idle/full speed switch, users can choose whether to start at idle speed or one-time start at full speed according to actual needs. Generally, the idle running time should not exceed 5 minutes, and the unit should not run at idle for a long time.

Press the start button for a maximum of 30 seconds. The engine starts up with the starter motor. Once the start is successful, the start button is released and the unit enters the running state.

Recommendation: In order to extend the life of the starting battery and start the motor, the time to start the unit at one time is preferably 5-10 seconds. If the startup is unsuccessful, you can pause the corresponding time and then start the second startup.
